In the interest of safety, all Opel Dealers are being urged to provide customers with a Visual Health Check report (VHC) whenever vehicles are booked into the workshop for an inspection, service or repair. The report grades safety related components according to condition so that the customer has a clear understanding of their condition. Components requiring urgent attention are graded red, advisory work is graded amber and parts visually judged to be satisfactory are shown in the green column. The VHC covers brakes, clutch, engine noise, condition of glass, lights, electrics, fluid levels, battery condition, exhaust, steering and suspension, drive shafts, wheels and tyres.
As service professionals, our authorised Dealers are duty bound to highlight to customers any serious defects or safety critical items, which may be apparent during a visual inspection - the results are then presented to the customer with prices quoted up front for any recommended work on a clear, jargon-free form.
